Krakow is a city which offers a great variety of events for its visitors. No matter when you come to Krakow, there is always something going on there. Many of the events are held regularly, usually annually. Some of them have very long traditions, and some appeared just a few years ago. Here is a list of some regular festivals held in Krakow.
New Years Party on the Main Market Square. Free concerts, fireworks and a great atmosphere.
International Shanty Festival – the biggest festival of sea songs in Europe, held every year in Krakow with top stars performing this type of music.
Misteria Paschalia festival – one of the most outstanding European events focusing on Renaissance and Baroque music. The concept of the festival is based on presenting masterpieces linked to the Holy Week and Easter. Annual, held since 2004.
