System of a Down at Impact Festival, 17th June 2017

System of a Down back in Poland!

On 17th June 2017 (Saturday) System of a Down will perform at TAURON Arena – in Krakow! The concert is part of the fifth edition of Impact Festival (only two days after the mega star Linkin Park). This U.S. band plays rock and metal music, in the broad sense, and was founded in 1994 in Glendale, California by musicians of Armenian descent. The band stopped playing in 2006, and then returned to the stage with renewed strength, and in great style, in 2010.

These Grammy award winners have recorded five studio albums so far, including their debut, System of a Down the hit Toxicity, which both went platinum. Songs such as Lonely DayToxicity and B.Y.O.B were hits, and thanks to Serj Tankian’s characteristic vocals and the band’s hard, melodic sounds, they have gained millions of fans around the world, including in Poland. It’s worth mentioning that their last concert here, in 2013, was very popular, and tickets sold out very quickly. Three years later, they are coming back to Poland to show their fans what concert madness really means.

The whole festival is being organised by Live Nation, and the concert is being held in one of the largest and most modern sports and entertainment arenas in Poland. The arena is only 2.5 miles from the main Market Square, and is near the beautiful Park Lotników (Pilots’ Park). It boats three levels of seating, advanced multimedia systems and excellent acoustics.

Where: TAURON Arena, Stanisława Lema 7, 31-571 KRAKÓW
When: Saturday 17th June 2017
